Terms of Service
1. What Wordstead does
Wordstead generates a book and related assets from the brief you provide, and delivers them as an organized project. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. Content ownership
- You own the output. On successful payment and delivery, you receive full rights to the generated manuscript and assets to publish, sell, license, and modify.
- We claim no ownership of delivered books. We retain the right to operate the platform and, only with your consent, feature anonymized samples.
- Your inputs remain yours. Uploaded sources are processed solely to fulfill your order.
- AI output is not automatically copyrightable in some jurisdictions. You are responsible for understanding the IP status of AI-assisted work in your market.
3. AI disclosure
Books are produced by AI systems with automated review steps. Output may contain inaccuracies; you are responsible for reviewing and verifying the book before publishing.
4. Originality
Each book is generated for your brief and passes an originality review. We do not guarantee that AI output is plagiarism-free in every jurisdiction or context. Review before publishing.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Wordstead to generate unlawful content, infringing material you have no rights to, content impersonating real people without consent, hateful or harassing content, or anything violating our AI providers’ usage policies. We may refuse or cancel (with refund) orders that violate these terms.
6. Payment & refunds
Prices are shown at checkout and charged once per order via our payment processor. Refund eligibility is tied to job status — see our Refund Policy.
7. Liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordstead is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.
